Nicolet College will hold a family-oriented Nutty to Run fitness event Saturday, September 20, on Nicolet's Rhinelander campus. The event features a 5K and 10K run, a 5K walk, and awards for each gender and age category.
There will also be a free Kids Outdoor "Squirrelly" Fitness course sponsored by the YMCA of the Northwoods and Healthy People Healthy Oneida County (HPHOC). A healthy snack will be provided for all kids participating.
Food and beverages will be available for sale during and after the race.
Proceeds from the race will go toward Nicolet College student scholarships.

The Kids Fitness Course will open at 11:00 a.m. and will include numerous fitness stations along a developed hiking trail through the woods on the Nicolet campus. The fitness trail is appropriate for children ages 3 to 12. Kids under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult. The fitness course is designed and operated by YMCA staff and HPHOC.
