This internet-based course provides 24 hours of interactive training online for those needing Moderate Risk certification (29 CFR 1910.120). This course meets the OSHA/EPA training requirements for workers performing hazardous waste site functions. Upon completion of this course participants will understand the need for OSHA regulations; describe work site characterization; plan a site safety and control program; recognize work site hazards; recognize the characteristics and hazards associated with chemicals; understand the principles of toxicology; recognize the importance and limitations of personal protective equipment; recognize the value of direct reading instruments and the potential hazards from air monitoring; describe various personal sample collection methods; itemize the various considerations in an emergency situation; and use safe work practices. Hazwoper Refresher


This internet-based course provides eight hours of interactive training online for the annual refresher to the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Site Worker course (29 CFR 1910.120). The course meets the OSHA/EPA training requirements for workers performing hazardous waste site functions. Upon completion of the refresher, participants will recognize work site hazards and safe work practices, understand principles of toxicology, review respiratory protective programs and personal protective equipment, as well as recognize the value of direct reading instruments and the potential hazards from air monitoring. OSHA 10-Hour Voluntary Compliance for General Industry NEW


This seminar will provide general industry workers, supervisors, and other personnel with an awareness of safety and health concerns in general industry. This seminar will cover the basics of OSHA general industry standards which participants will be able to immediately apply to their workplace. Participants will become familiar with the OSHA requirements for a number of general industry activities including electrical, personal protective equipment, hazardous communication, evacuation, lock-out, tag-out, as well as fire protection and prevention.
