Container Gardening: Plant Your Own Masterpiece

Have you ever thought about creating your own colorful garden container, but didn’t think you had the expertise? Come learn all you need to know about container gardening. All of your questions will be answered. Does this plant go with that plant? What type of soil should be used? What about watering and fertilizing? Sun? Shade? Everything! You will be able to take this beautiful container garden home and enjoy it all summer long. A $15.00 material fee will be paid to the instructor at the beginning of class. 42-001-44036

Tour of Summer Gardens – Tomahawk Style NEW

Do you love to garden? Would you enjoy seeing what’s happening locally with everyday gardeners just like yourself? Then this garden tour class is for you! Local garden expert, Justin Cerny, will facilitate this traveling class. Meet at Cerny’s Greenhouse on the first night of class. From there you will travel to a local garden. Each of the following weeks you’ll meet at a different local garden. The tour will include a vegetable garden, a rock/container garden, a woodland garden, and a perennial garden. Each tour stop will include a discussion led by Justin and the garden owner. A question and answer session will be included in each class. The Game of Bridge NEW

Review and practice the basic elements of bidding and play, with emphasis on principles underlying popular conventions and treatments standard in the game as it is played today. Initial sessions deal separately with no trump and suit bidding. Other sessions, selected according to participant needs and preferences chosen from the following: declarer play, defender play, competitive bidding, overcalls, takeout doubles, preempts, transfers, demand bids, and slam bidding. Introduction to Building and Flying Radio Control Airplanes NEW

Join us in learning about the radio control airplane hobby. Thanks to new technology, this hobby has never been less expensive, and getting started is easier than it might seem. This class will discuss the flying of electric and gas powered models and the different types of radios currently available.
