Thank you for your interest in entering Nicolet Area Tech College Associate Degree Program. Listed below is our current policy from our student handbook pointing out the steps to be admitted into the program.

Students must meet with the Academic Advisor for a transcript evaluation.

If the applicant has failed two previous nursing core courses they would not be admitted to the program.

Students must submit to the Program Director:

A letter from the previous program director/dean regarding the student’s status in that program.

Course outcome summaries, including competencies, of courses completed in the previous program.

The Admissions and Progressions (A&P) Committee, Program Director and/or Dean of Health Occupations will review the information and determine placement in the program.

Students may be required to complete written and skills competency exams.

A fee of $100 is required for written competency exams and $125 for the skills competency validation. Exams are scheduled with the cluster assistant.

Students must pass the written portion of the exam with a score of 80% or greater prior to skills validation.

Students transferring into the 2 nd, 3 rd or 4 th semesters of the nursing program will be admitted with space permitting as follows:

Previously enrolled students from within the District will be considered first.

LPN's from within the District will be considered second.

Students from outside the District will be considered third.
