Request Information About Nicolet College and Its Programs
Registration for Spring 2009 semester classes will open Monday, October 27, 2008 for all current students.
Many program students may have already been pre-registered by their advisor and received their schedule by that time. Students will not need to schedule an advising appointment if their spring schedule is correct.
All Transfer/Liberal Arts students, other program students, or students who need schedule changes will need to schedule an advising appointment (365-4493). Students may also contact their advisor by email or phone.
Online, distance, and part-time students are encouraged to seek advising assistance through email, online chat or phone conferencing with their advisor.
All students may also register themselves online though the MyNicolet system on the web beginning October 27.
Registration for new students and the general public open November 17, 2008.
New students should make an appointment to see their advisor per their letter of acceptance. Registration for the general public is available by mail, in person, by phone, or online at MyNicolet on the Nicolet website.
All students must meet with their advisor, either in class or through appointments, email, online chat, or phone before they can register online.
MyNicolet is a web-based, self-service student system that gives you online access to your student records and lets you register for classes online.
Before you begin, you will need to set Netscape as your web browser and have a working email address on file with Nicolet College to receive your MyNicolet login.
Once you have received your login and password and reaccessed the system, it is recommended that you change your password to one that you can more easily remember. Remember to also keep this password confidential. Do not give your password to other students, as they will have access to all your confidential records.
Guide to MyNicolet Self-Services and Registration
All Nicolet students will register online for their courses. All students will continue to meet with their academic advisor prior to registering as they have in the past - either in group sessions with advisors during certain core program classes or through individual advising appointments.
All Pre-nursing and College Transfer students must meet with their advisor individually before they can register online. If you are in either of these programs, call the Registration Office at 715-365-4493 or 800-544-3039, ext. 4493 to make an appointment during the registration period.
Once a student has been advised of the courses they need to register for, either in class or through a separate advising appointment, students may register from home, at any available campus computer lab or the LRC library, at several laptop computer stations available at the Registration Office in the UTC, or anywhere else where they have web access. Advisors and other registration office staff will be available to assist students in the process on campus during regular office hours.
